I graduated with my Master's degree in Professional Counseling in 2002 from West Texas A&M. My years of clinical practice focus on mild to severe mental illness. I have practiced privately since 2007.
Beyond graduate school, I was trained as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist by Monica Basco, PhD in providing CBT as a public health initiative in a community based clinic.
My mission is to educate patients on mental illness and mental health to lead more effective and productive lives. I hope to bring peace to each patient that I work with in their journey.

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life. This includes Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. This includes PTSD, Acute Stress Disorder, Somaatic Disorders and Borderline Personality Disorder.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
Substance abuse counseling in an outpatient setting is beneficial for those who desire to address mild to moderate use to promote accountability and learn new coping strategies to effectively manage developing a new lifestyle.
